I am thrilled to have my newest memoir, I Couldn't Tell You, recently featured in Macalester College's May 2026 edition of Maccolades, a newsletter celebrating the accomplishments of alumni, faculty, and students.
The article highlights how I Couldn't Tell You expands upon the story shared in my earlier memoir, exploring the emotional and psychological challenges our family faced after returning home following our daughter's medical crisis overseas. While the first book focused on navigating a complex medical journey abroad, this memoir reflects on the lasting impact that trauma can have long after a crisis appears to be over.
I am also grateful that my father, Professor Emeritus Dr. Jack Rossmann, is recording an audiobook edition to help make the book accessible to blind and low-vision readers in Minnesota.
Thank you to Macalester College for the recognition and for sharing my story with the broader Macalester community.
